ABOUT
Studio 3AM is a collaborative architecture practice based in Calicut, Kerala, led by Mohammed Akheel. Since 2017, we have been engaged in architectural design, striving to create work that is both competent and compelling across India and the Middle East.
Our design philosophy is rooted in a deep understanding of people and place, their surroundings, culture, techniques, and materials. Our design values evolve with the nature of each project, the geography of the site, and the way occupants interact with the space.
We believe the true essence of architecture lies in a collective, holistic approach. We see design as a process that unfolds into a series of ideas, which we continuously nurture and refine. Our work evolves over time, naturally weaving itself into the context, often surprising us with its final outcome — a simplicity and humility that shape each project into a thoughtful work of art.
Our Philosophy
Our design values evolve depending upon the nature of being, geography of the place and how occupants address it. We believe that the true essence of architecture lies in the collective holistic approach.
We approach design as a process which beautifully unfolds into a series of ideas and upon which we relentlessly work to nurture. We believe that designs evolve with time, which naturally weaves itself, and we are often astonished by the ultimate outcome ; the simplicity and humbleness of a design which shapes the project into a sensible work of art.
